Today I start my 100 day Keto. I will be documenting my workouts, progress pictures, food intake and what it feels like to go without carbohydrates. For those who don’t know, the Keto diet, short for Ketosis, is a diet without any net carbs. Why so. Well, once your body is starved of carbs, it changes it metabolism to use fatty acids to produce energy. So, your fat breaks down into ketones which is then used by the body to produce energy. Literally burning fat. I’ll talk more about ketosis and metabolism and all the good stuff soon.
I currently weigh 184lbs. My goal is to reach to 154lbs in 100 days. Pretty tough but we will see how it goes day by day. Striving for a net defecit of 1000 every day, that gives about 2lbs/week, times that by 12 is about 24lbs by the end of 90 days add another week so about 26lbs.

Worked out arms today. I’ve attached my workout sheets. One fallacy that I want to debunk is the fact that you loose muscle if you do not have carbohydrates to fuel them up. Let’s see what happens.
I’m expecting to loose a lot of water weight within the first week. 184 to 174 should be the easiest and I’ll probably reach there before time. Then it gets interesting. 174 to 164 should be much more difficult. Let’s see!!
